OVERCOMING YOUR CREATIVE ROADBLOCKS
Feeling unmotivated in your creative practice?
Inner critic getting the best of you?
Or are you overwhelmed by ideas and don’t know how to start?
Wherever you’re getting stuck, developing a process for overcoming your blocks can help. A process helps you think about your work as happening within stages, each one with its own set of intentions. With a process you’re less likely to get overwhelmed in your creative work, or let self-doubt get in the way.
In this workshop, we’ll discuss the 5-stages of the creative process and how you can use this framework to move your project forward.
If you want to identify your current creative roadblocks and understand how to work through them, you’ll love this workshop

In 2020, I created a Mighty Practice because I saw so many artists facing the same challenges:
Artists who want to develop their voices, but are overcome with self-doubt.
Artists who want to engage in thoughtful discussion about making things, but lack community.
Artists who want their creative work to be more central to their lives, but can’t manage to find the time or energy for it.
But most importantly, I saw artists who wanted to take their creative work seriously, to actualize their ideas, and going back to “art school” wasn’t realistic.
Since then, I’ve coached hundreds of creatives through the ups and downs of their practices. I’ve helped artists create new work after years of feeling stuck, quit their jobs to start creative careers, and secure big opportunities like residencies and grants.
